Yes it's a trend but for obvious reasons! Stainless steel is just a winner in any interior. 
The cups and saucers are made from 18/10 inox steel. They've been found in Italy and mark 'Inoxpran' on the bottom, which also happens to be an Italian brand. 
They are priced as a set: you get two cups and two saucers. There's multiple available.
